The 13th century country houses of Campolungo, Il Piano, Le Caselle and Poggio Cenni are located on the 200 hectare estate of the Tenuta Casabianca winery. Not far from the reception you will find the restaurant and the sports area with 25-meter pool, children’s pool, pool bar, tennis courts with floodlights, boccia alley. From here it is only a few meters to a picturesquely situated lake, which invites you to go fishing and in which your dog may also refresh itself. In the cellar of Tenuta Casabianca, the vines from its own cultivation are pressed and vinified into excellent wines.

The historic country houses of the Tenuta Casabianca are scattered far apart in the middle of the wild and romantic natural park that stretches between the two rivers Merse and Ombrone about 300m above sea level. The loving and elaborate restoration of the Tenuta has created a unique link between antiquity and modernity. Once lived here the Etruscans, who built Siena and to a large extent shaped Tuscan culture. Today, the province of Siena is probably the most interesting region of Tuscany in terms of art history. The provincial capital, Siena, and many towns worth visiting, such as San Gimignano, the “Manhattan of the Middle Ages”, can be reached in 30-60 minutes by car.

Activity and relaxation in balance

The Tenuta offers a variety of leisure activities: there are tennis facilities, a large pool, table tennis, a boccia alley, and mountain bikes can also be rented. The Tenuta is home to 60 horses – professional riding instructors offer rides, but also riding lessons. A picturesquely located lake invites you to go fishing or just to dream. You like hiking? There are countless possibilities in the vast grounds and surroundings of the Tenuta. And maybe you will be lucky and see the peacefully grazing cows, which are allowed to roam naturally in the demarcated parts of the forests.
